The Console also includes a battery backup that enables you to utilize your console for up to 24 hours during a blackout. Up to 4 Consoles may be added on one security system.

CONSOLE PANIC BUTTON – ENABLED AND DISABLED

When the Panic Button is pressed, it sends a signal to central monitoring, who will contact emergency services and send them to your home. The Panic Button could save your life in the event of an emergency, but you may wish to disable this feature to prevent false alarms from happening accidentally. (Homes with small children or individuals who have difficulty using the system often choose to disable this feature.)

SOLUTION FOR CONSOLE – BLANK SCREEN

If your Console screen is blank and unresponsive, there is likely no power to the unit.  Start by checking that the power cord is properly plugged into back of the console. You should also check that the other end of the power cord is plugged into the wall outlet, and that wall outlet has power.
If the Console is plugged in correctly and there is still no power, try the following steps:
  • Unplug power cord from back of Console
  • Open battery compartment door and remove battery
  • Plug power cord into different outlet and back into Console
The power should come back on. If Console screen is still blank and unresponsive, call the Blue by ADT Support Team at 877-464-7437
