Overview
Emails from Blue by ADT are sent for a number of reasons:
- Account Information - Email is used to communicate information such as permits, billing, or updates to your account
- Alerts - Email may be used for notifications from your system for alarms, troubled device information, camera motion, or other custom alerts you may have setup for things like a door opening
Changing Your Email for Account and Marketing Purposes
- In order to update your account email, you must place a call to support at 877-464-7437.
Changing Your Email for Notifications
- If you would like to change the email you receive notifications and alerts to then you can go to Settings > Notifications > Choose the User and then you can adjust the appropriate email.
Turning Off Emails from An Alert
- If you are receiving emails from your system that you would like to avoid, you can go to Settings > Alerts > Choose the Alert and then you can deselect the notification method that you would like to no longer receive alerts for.
TIP: Some alerts, like alarms, do require at least one notification method to ensure alarms are properly delivered.
