Your new LifeShield system comes with cellular backup through both broadband and SMS. In the event that your base is reporting cellular signal issues, there are a few things you can try to improve your signal strength.
1) Connect your base using Wi-Fi and find a location in your home that has a good cellular signal strength. - Moving your base near a window or in an upstairs area can improve it's line of site to a cellular antenna. You can put your base on Wi-Fi by going to Settings > Devices > clicking your base and selecting Wi-Fi Settings. Follow the instructions to find your network to connect it to the internet using Wi-Fi. 2) Move your base away from other metal objects. If your base is located near other metal objects like a cable box, on the top of a refrigerator, or in a networking cabinet then it may end up with interference from the other devices. Moving the base to a location by itself may improve your cellular signal. 3) Contact support for an external antenna. - If moving the base is not an option, you can also contact customer support and request an external antenna for your base.
