Blue by ADT Door/Window Sensor Spacers

Overview

Use Blue by ADT Door/Window Sensor Spacers to offset deep door or window molding when setting up your Blue Door/Window Sensors. The spacers line up the sensor and magnet within range (½ in. [15mm]) so the device can function properly. The thin plastic pieces fit under the sensor and/or magnet and can be stacked as high as needed.



Included in box:
• Door/window sensor spacers
• Double-sided tape
• Screws (optional)


Before you get started

You’ll need:
• Blue by ADT door/window sensors
• Phillips head screwdriver or a drill with Phillips driver bit (optional)


Setting up your Blue by ADT Door/Window Sensor Spacers:
 
  1. Stack the spacers on top of each other to get your desired height adjustment for the sensor and/or magnet.
    Note: There is a TOP marking on the plastic to look for when stacking or setting up the spacers.
  2. Adhere the back plate of the sensor/magnet on top of the stack of spacers.
  3. To adhere the spacers to the wall or each other, use the attached double-sided tape or the included screws.
