Blue by ADT alerts are available by email, SMS, and through push notifications. If you set up an alert and are having trouble receiving them, please review the following steps.
- Ensure alert is enabled. - In order to validate your alert is turned on, go to Settings > Alerts and choose the alert that you are having issues with. Verify that your alert is set to "Enabled" to ensure it is working properly. If you are having problem with a camera motion notification, you should also check your camera motion settings to ensure the notification is on and a notification method is selected.
- Verify your notification method is selected - If you are having problems with a specific notification method, go to Settings > Alerts > choose your alert and click on the notification methods in the alert overview. Select the methods you are looking to receive the message by and trigger the alert again. If you'd like to add a new notification method you can add it from here as well.
- Enable push notifications for the app - If you are not receiving push notifications for the application, follow the below steps for your operating system:
Android: Go to your Android Settings > go to Apps and Notifications > Select the Blue by ADT app > click on App Notifications and ensure that notifications are turned on for the app.
IOS: Go to IOS Settings > Click on Notifications > Go to the Blue by ADT app and ensure that "Allow Notifcations" is on.
